Frequently Asked Questions

Do you pick up and drop off the dogs for walking?

Yes, I will collect your dog/s from your home and return them after walking. You don’t need to be in, but you will need to provide me with a key if you won’t be there. This can all be arranged at our initial meet and greet prior to my first walk.

Will you walk my dog for the full time stated or does that include travel time?

The time stated is the amount of time your dog/s will be walking. So for a 1 hour walk, the full walk time will be at least 1 hour (I don’t hit a timer and end the walk abruptly at the mark after all!) plus time in the car getting to and from the site. The cost of travel is included in the price. Your dog will typically be out with me for 1.5-2 hours in total for a 1 hour walk.

Can you walk my dog as a one off or do I have to book a regular slot?

You are welcome to use my services as little or as often as you choose! I am more than happy to walk your dog as a one off, depending on availability. (However, if you do decide to book regularly, you will receive 10% discount for bookings of 10 or more in advance!)

Are you insured?

Yes. I carry full pet business insurance.

Do you walk/sit for nervous dogs?

I don’t shy away from working with nervous dogs or dogs with specific needs. At our initial meeting, we will discuss your dogs temperament and any specific requirements they may have (being walked away from other dogs, particular things that trigger them etc). Visiting you and your dog in your own home prior to any walks/sitting needs also gives them an opportunity to meet me prior to my taking care of them, which is always helpful.

Do you walk un-neutured dogs?

Yes. I do walk un-neutured dogs, but cannot take females when in season.
